Shipping Policy

Shipping Costs

All our sinks are well packaged and put on a pallet and have a standard freight shipping cost that will automatically be applied to each order. This only applies to orders shipping to the U.S. mainland.

If you would like to ship outside of the U.S. mainland (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Islands, etc.) or Canada, please contact us for a shipping quote at or 888-444-0773.

We also offer local pick up at our shop. If this is something you are interested in, please let us know at the time of placing the order.

All shipping locations must be commercial with both a loading dock and forklift. If the location we are shipping has neither or has limited access, please contact us to provide you with a delivery fee estimate.

If the information is not disclosed before shipping an order, extra charges will be billed to the customer, no negotiations. All bills refused to pay by the customer after disclosure of our shipping policy will be forwarded to our collections agency.

Extra Fees

Extra fees may be incurred without notification. All fees are forwarded to the customer once received from the carrier. These fees can include the following:

• Shipping to a non-commercial location (limited access and/or residential)
• Customer setting up an appointment or requesting a delivery appointment
• Re-delivery of the freight
• Use of a liftgate in the absence of a forklift
• Limited Access Restriction due to absence of loading dock
• If unloading takes longer than 30 Minutes
• Over length fee(s): This will be added to any order with sinks measuring between 96" - 144" for $200 ea. & sinks measuring 144" and above will be added a fee of $750 ea.
• Extra charges forwarded from the freight carrier

    Extra fees for limited access locations will be forwarded to the customer. This includes:

    Shipping Arrangements by Customer

    If you would like to use your own freight carrier, please let us know at the time of purchase. We are not allowed to access your personal account due to privacy policies. We can instead provide you with the details needed for you to create the shipping labels with the carrier, then you can forward the labels to us.

    Please note we are not responsible for any damages or loss of freight during transit as you are using your own carrier. If there are any damages or loses, you will need to make a claim directly with your freight carrier. We cannot recover or compensate for any damages with this shipping method.

          Lead Time

          All our sinks are finished to order. After your order is in the fabrication process, a representative will send an email confirming your lead time. Please note that lead time varies on quantity of sinks, the kind of sink we are fabricating, and the volume of current orders.

          All lead times are an estimation and are NOT guaranteed. Best Sheet Metal is not liable for any order shipped past the estimated ship date.

          Quick lead time overview:

          • Orders for smaller hand sinks are usually shipped within 5-7 business days of the purchase date via UPS Ground.
          • Orders for the larger, 84” and above, wash up multi-station sinks are shipped within 9-18 business days after receiving cleared payment.
          • Orders with more than 1 sink require an additional handling time of 3 business days or more per sink
          • Lead times mentioned are not guaranteed.

            Transit Time

            Transit time is the time (usually business days) required to deliver (by freight carrier) an order to the receiving party. Transit times are NOT included with the lead time.

            Transit times are separate from lead times. Transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. Best Sheet Metal is not responsible if the freight company changed the estimated arrival date. Transit times vary from state to state. All orders are shipped from California.

            Detention at Destination

            There is only 30 Minutes allowed at time of delivery.

            If there is additional time spent at delivery, then detention charges will be applied. Please anticipate preparations for unloading shipment to avoid any extra charges.

            Item Count
            Our team is committed on making sure all accessories are in the shipment. If an item is missing, please contact us and we will make sure to send the item directly to you.

            We will only be responsible if missing items are reported upon arrival or within the same delivery date.

            Damaged freight

            Buyers please remember to inspect the shipment upon arrival for any damages or missing items that may have been caused during transit. If there is visible damage, make sure to note it on the bill of lading with the driver or report the issue to us on the date of delivery. Notify Best Sheet Metal in case of damage at 888-444-0773. 

            Damage or shortage claims will ONLY be honored if it is noted on the bill of lading.

            PLEASE thoroughly review all products and packaging. DO NOT accept damaged freight. Freight damaged can be concealed by packaging; packaging must be removed to perform a thorough inspection for damage. This inspection must be performed on the date the order is received.  Receiver is responsible for any damage or loss not noted on the delivery receipt.

            In case of concealed freight damage, carrier must be notified immediately. *Neither Best Sheet Metal nor the freight carrier will be responsible for damaged or missing items that are not noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery* Buyer is responsible for return freight charges.
